Jason Brewster, M.Sc
Vice President, OperationsMr. Brewster is a mining engineer with over 25 years experience in the mining industry. He has been with Omai Gold since it went public in 2020 and was previously President & CEO of its predecessor Anconia Resources. His experience ranges from grassroots exploration through to mining operations, including international experience in Cuba, Morocco, Brazil and Spain. Mr. Brewster has led both exploration and mine development teams including on the development of the initial mine plan at the Aguas Tenidas mine in southern Spain that was brought back into production and is still in production. He has a an M.Sc in Mining Engineering from the Camborne School of Mines in the U.K.
Petra Decher, CA, CPA
CFO & Corporate SecretaryMs. Decher is a seasoned finance executive with over twenty-five years' experience in the mining industry. She has a deep understanding of financial reporting, corporate governance, M&A, capital markets, compliance and ESG. Ms. Decher has held the CFO position for several publicly-listed exploration/development and producing mining companies and has served as an independent board member, chairing Audit Committees, being the Lead Independent Director, and a member of compensation committees. She most recently was the CFO of Marimaca Copper Corp. Prior to Marimaca, Ms. Decher was the Vice President, Finance and Assistant Secretary for Franco-Nevada Corporation. Ms. Decher is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Gary Nassif, M.Sc., P.Geo.
Corporate and Technical AdvisorMr. Nassif is a professional geologist with over 30 years' experience in gold, base-metal and diamond exploration in Canada, United States and sub-Saharan Africa. He was Senior VP of Jerritt Canyon Gold (formerly owned by Sprott Mining Inc.) prior to its acquisition by First Majestic Silver Corp. in 2021. He was Manager of Exploration Services for Trelawney Mining & Exploration (Coté Gold) prior to its sale to IAMGOLD in 2012. Mr. Nassif sits on the boards of several TSXV-listed exploration companies including of Kirkland Lake Discoveries, Pirate Gold, Inventus Mining and Argentum Silver bringing his technical and corporate development experience. He holds an M.Sc. in Geology from McGill University, a B.Sc. in Geology from Concordia University, and a Certificate in Mining Law from Osgoode Hall.

Director of Government and Public RelationsMr. Thomas is a former diplomat with 30 years of economic policy, programming, trade and market development experience. Through public and private roles, Mr. Thomas has been able to contribute to robust sustainable economic growth in both Guyana and Suriname. From working in the USA, South Korea, India and Guyana, Jake has developed an extensive network of collaborators across many sectors of the economy. In is role with Avalon Gold Exploration Jake will be advancing government, public and business relations in Guyana in support of its OMAI project.
